My wife and I stayed 1 night after attending a car show just north of here in Canada. Needed a safe neighborhood for parking my show car that was on a trailer. This was perfect for my needs. We stayed in the large spacious King suite with it’s own bathroom. The view was wonderful in a very quiet location. I have a hearing hyperacusis issue and appreciate peace and quiet. No meals served here but there is a kitchen that can be used with a coffee maker. Ate at the Marina restaurant and enjoyed walking about. We will stay here again if ever in Pt. Roberts.
If you are visiting Point Roberts, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s a very nice and big house in a great location. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped so you can make breakfast easily. Our room was the one with en-suite bathroom and was luxury. There is a terrace with a nice view on the little lake nearby. You can hear and smell the ocean. I highly recommend this place!
Had a wonderfully restful time at Oceanview villa. George made it even more relaxing with his friendly greeting and showing us around the beautiful spacious house. Then he pulled back and just allowed us to enjoy it. He could be seen now and then with a wave or “how was your day?” Always being available but maintaining our privacy to enjoy this stunning home. At first I got disappointed as I thought if it was called Ocean view, it was really going to have a view towards the ocean. Because of that i reserved it to spend my husband’s birthday there. Fortunately lack of the view was compensated by the kind and patient owner of the house which was impeccable. I put 4 stars for the room as to watch TV one should go to the common living room. There was everything we needed at the kitchen. If you don’t want TV nor ocean view this place is perfect in every aspect including its quiet location. We are thankful for everything.
George was a great host during my stay - he made a point to greet me upon arrival and show me around my accommodations. Very well maintained property with all of the relevant necessities. If ever looking for a place to stay while visiting Point Roberts, i highly recommend Ocean View Villa & Wellness hosted by George.
This trip was last minute so we were very pleased as George went out of his way to accommodate our family. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable with excellent views, floor to ceiling windows, large deck space and a fully stocked kitchen and bath. A short 10 minute walk to the lighthouse marine park and a very short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. We were very pleased and will be back to visit again.
Quiet place in a beautiful location, and the host, George, was fantastic. He was there to meet me when I arrived and walked me through the property and the amenities. The house is large, with a nice kitchen and two living/siting rooms, one with a TV and one without. It has a nice back deck, looking over the pond, and is close to Lighthouse Park. Would definitely stay there again.
So many great things about this stay! Excellent communication and interaction with the owner. The house is really well done, quiet inside, and offers HUGE accommodations in the bedroom and bathroom. Decor is modern and the home is immaculate on the inside and out. The location and view of the lovely pond and its resident water fowl from the (also huge) balcony create incredible serenity. I would absolutely stay here again.
